Every Gibson Header is Dyno-tuned and engineered to deliver more usable horsepower and torque at low and mid-range RPM highway speeds. Improves engine’s ability to breathe and cooler operating engine temperature. Designed as a direct replacement for the factory manifolds, using the stock crossover pipe. They are well suited for lowered and raised vehicles, street and off-road. 50 State Street legal. Meets EPA and CARB requirements. Will not affect the factory warranty.

My opinion and review.... I own a 2005 Lincoln Navigator, which this item is suppose to fit based on the check if it fits drop-down menues. Since this item was suppose to fit I ordered it, took my 2005 Navigator to a professional (Local) Hot Rod Shop and was told the bad news (This doesn't fit) after all the OEM parts had been removed and new ones were attempted to be installed, and worst yet they (The Hot Rod Shop) contacted Gibson about the headers and were told that the (D) Port Heads my Navigator has (they don't make headers for)? So, after $1050.22 in labor and new gaskets to replace my factory parts I found out I have to return this item and still paid for Labor and parts for something I should never have been sold. I have currently been told by Amazon.com (through a complaint response to the Better Business Bureau (now) that they Amazon.com will not pay the labor even though a representative from Amazon.com initially said they would pay it... At this point I have had to contact other legal parties to investigate and spoke with Gibson Performance (Who Amazon.com says built the listing for their website) even though Amazon.coms listing says "Ships from and Sold By Amazon.com." Gibson Performance is looking into the matter but would not confirm "IF" they will repay the labor? I WOULD NOT HAVE ORDERED THE PART IF I KNEW IT DID NOT FIT. Item discription and or "Will this Fit" should be updated to reflect what "will actually" fit ".... To this day the (2005 Lincoln Navigator is still shown to fit for these Headers)? and doesn't make any remarks specifically not fitting this application..... Don't take a chance, go somewere else to make the purchase (not Online), somewhere that stands behind it's listed products and will make it right when they are wrong (especially when they said they would make it right from the begining)... For a multi-billion dollar company $1050.22 may not be much, but for the average home in America this is not something you can just say "Oh well!" I hope this is not a trend nation wide (or) world wide? I have ordered with Amazon.com in the past with great experiences, but this one takes the cake. I will re-think every purchase now and feel unsure about every purchase.
