I love my dishes, they are nice amd thick and beautiful, but there is a little bit of a problem. If you stack them up then you will scratch every plate you have. I ended up making a rack to slide into my cabinets that holds the plates perfectly, so they could be seperated and it works great.

I am very happy with my Gibson Soho Lounge Dinnerware. It is very fun and creative. Another good thing was the FREE shipping! I couldn't find the dishes in a store in my area, but with the free shipping, it was an added bonus. I am definitely pleased with this purchase!

Fell in love with the look of these dishes. However, the manufacturer claims these dishes are microwave safe. Not so. I have now broken two of these dishes in the microwave, and I was microwaving for only one minute each time. Will not ever buy another set of Gibson dishes. Very dissatisfied with this product.

We bought two sets of these dishes about 3 weeks ago and have been very happy with them. The dinner plates and bowls are very large and the entire set is attractive. We have been extremely happy with our purchase and both sets arrived at our door in perfect condition. (No chips, cracks or breaks.)

This is an amazing deal. My wife said she saw set at Crate & Barrel or some such place for 4x the price. These are well made; well designed, sturdy, medium blue glazing is very nice on the wooden dining table. They came well packed so no broken dishes. I just ordered another set.

I bought this set for my mom since she had wanted a "square plate" set for a while now. We love it! Everything is really good quality and best of all, cutlery doesn't scrape against it when you eat. Everything is REALLY big. The bowls are twice as deep as the ones I had before, and the plates are very large. It's fantastic. It instantly adds presentation to ANY meal- I'm serious! They just look so nice and modern. Highly suggest buying this set.

This dinnerware is trendy, useful, and sturdy. I love it. My only complaint is that I can't find a completer set to match it.

I think depending on your specific situation, i.e. what you are looking for in dinnerware, we each will have varying expectations. As a bachelor in his 20s, I sought for a set that could be tough enough to do daily duty as well as be appeasing to the eye -- and, I think that this set accomplishes both of those goals quite successfully.

Each item in the set is made of ceramic. What does this mean, you ask? Well, what this means is that if you are going to drop this from your 10+ ft. apartment balcony onto concrete, it is going to shatter, but if you drop it from an average height, of, say 5 ft, onto carpet it will make it. The pieces feel solid, and have good weight to them. The thickness is, by my guestimation, 1/3 of an inch. Your guests will appreciate the solidness. The color and design is just as displayed on the picture, although I do notice a slight fading of the tan color inside of the bowl near the edge -- it came that way. I won't be too bothered by if it doesn't erode, but as of this writing, I've only had it for about a month... and, I haven't served any guests with it, yet.

The price is perfect for this quality, and, if need be, can be cheaply replaced (the entire set, that is). I like this flexibility. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this purchase and would buy it again.

Looking for an upgrade and some style and this accomplish both. Nice size plate and bowls.

We received this set within 4 days of ordering, very fast shipping. The set is heavy and nice looking. The color is exactly what is shows in the picture. I love this set and we use it everyday and haven't had any problems with it.
