Perfect refills for Williams Sonoma cookbook!,

This review is from: CR Gibson QP-13 Large Recipe Binder Pocket Page Refill
I've been looking for 5x7 pocket refill pages for a while now to fit a Williams Sonoma cookbook/journal. I got the wonderful "Personalized Recipe & Entertaining Journal" a couple years ago as a gift and love it, but it only came with a few pocket pages. It's sort of an odd size (12"x11") which has made finding refills a challenge. FINALLY, I have more and can fill up my cookbook with all my favorite recipes! These refill pages are excellent quality and almost exactly like the original pages that came with my cookbook. They fit 5x7 recipe cards as promised and the seams are solid. The image isn't exactly right on Amazon or even Gibson's own website for that matter. The pages are actually 9.5" wide by 11.25" tall. The pre-punched holes are at standard increments. From where the holes are to where the pocket actually starts, there is a 2" "spacer" section of plastic that separates the binder holes from the pocket. The picture doesn't really show that extra bit of plastic. This has been the reason finding replacements has been so hard. It's not just a standard 8.5"x11" page. If you were to put these in a standard binder, the plastic would overlap the edges. Anyway, if you are in the same boat I was and needs refills for your Williams Sonoma cookbook/journal, BUY THESE REFILLS! They are perfect.

They fit the 5x7 cards perfectly, although i wish there was an easier way to grab the cards out, like maybe a little cut out on top. I think I could probably do that very easily with some scissors. Great product otherwise.

Excellent for postcard storage,

I thought I would review this in case anyone else is trying to do what I was. I had a collection of postcards that needed to be compiled in an album with both the front and back of the cards visible. I thought a plastic insert would be a good solution, but struggled for a while to find the correct product. Although this is marked as for "recipes," the pockets can obviously hold other cards that are up to 5 x 7 in size. I have purchased three of these refills so far and they have been perfect for the project. The plastic is strong and sturdy. I had no problems getting cards in or out of the pockets. It seems to be a very high quality product.Obviously, this would only work for standard size postcards or smaller, but it turned out that only a few of the ones in the collection were of larger size, which I assume is true for most people with such collections.
