WONDERFUL LITTLE BOOK FOR THE BUDDING CONSERVATIONEST,
This review is from: Gifford Pinchot: Am. Forester (First Books--American Conservationists) (Library Binding)
This little work gives the story of tree conservation in the United States, its history and the historical background of some of the men and women who who helped develope our forestry programs and system. The old photographs, which are worth the price of the book alone, are great and the text goes quite well with them. This is a wonderful starter book for the younger set, and the adult reader will pick up all sort of strange and little known facts. recommend this one highly.
