This is such a beautiful and special book. I think that it's especially poignant for parents who have previously lost a child. It is such a message of love that your angel in heaven will be with your new child forever. I highly recommend this sweet story.

Marianne Richmonds book "The Gift of an Angel" is a touching book about God choosing an angel for every newborn child born unto this earth. It was the most sentimental heartfelt book I have ever read. I received it as a gift after my daughter Karlyn was born. It truly brings together the love, and emotion of the whole experience that encompasses childbirth. I've never cried so hard reading a book. This is an excellent gift to give to new parents. I will treasure this book forever!

This amazing book was given to me on the birth of my son, Dylan, and there couldn't have been a more perfect gift. The Gift of an Angel embodies the wonder of childbirth and the love surrounding a child, both here on earth and in heaven. Each and every time I read it, I am struck by the same feeling of warmth and love. Thank you Marianne Richmond for adding to our family traditions!

This book is a sweet, whimsical book to begin a baby's library. You can customize it with the appropriate family names. It would make a great shower gift!

I bought a couple copies of this book the first time I ever saw it--it is BY FAR the BEST book for parents of a new baby that I've seen. The illustrations are magnificent and the story makes me cry EVERY TIME I read it-- It's a great gift for someone close to you or for that occasional baby shower of a acquaintance--I even bought one to give to my son when he's older---

My mother gave this to my husband and me a month before our little girl was born. As I read it each consecutive page I couldn't believe the emotions I was feeling! This book tugs at your heart strings and helps sum up how blessed you feel as you prepare to welcome your little angel!

I am a new mom myself, and a coworker of my husband suggested The Gift of Being Grand as a great book to give my parents. So, while ordering it online I came across this other book written by Marianne Richmond. Even though we had already welcomed our new child into the world I ordered it for myself to read. When I read it for the first time I could not stop crying. I am not a very religious person, but this was so beautiful and comforting to read as a new mom. It is such a wonderful story! I called my mom and read it to her over the phone while in tears. I went online and ordered three more copies to give to my pregnant cousins. I hope they get as much joy from this story as I did! Enjoy!

My mother gave me this book, along with the accompanied CD, which has the best lullabyes, a few months before my daughter was born. She is now almost 6 mos. and is just starting to react to the pictures and the colors on the page. I read it to her every night and each night, I get the same warm feelings!

I had twin daughters who had died shortly after birth so this book means so much to me and my husband. It's reassuring to know that Meg has 2 Angels protecting and loving her.

It's a must-have book for parents and will be buying it for my friends!
