5.0 out of 5 stars This IS the best translation
God's Word should never be changed. To change the words is to change the meaning... it dilutes the word.

Well, I liked the beginning, but I thought the ending was a little slow....

5.0 out of 5 stars Any version is good, January 17, 2000

God's Word is relevant no matter the translation. Many "cut their teeth" on the NIV or similar version. Some understand that other translation's wording are such that additional insight can be gleaned. It's not the ink on the page that imparts God's knowledge and will, it's the guiding of the Holy Spirit (Who doesn't care which version you're reading). The KJV, for me gives additional insight and is beautiful to the ear because of the Elizabethan english in which it has been translated. Those who insist on believing only in the originals better brush up on their Greek and Hebrew! :)
