Kevin Hogan is the author of nineteen books. He is best known for his international best selling book, The Psychology of Persuasion: How to Persuade Others to Your Way of Thinking.

In the past decade he has become the Body Language Expert and Unconscious Influence Expert to ABC, Fox, The BBC, The New York Times, The New York Post and dozens of popular magazines like Forbes,Investors Business Daily, InTouch, First for Women, Success!, and Cosmopolitan. He has become the go-to resource for analyzing key White House figures.

Hogan has taught Persuasion and Influence at the University of St. Thomas Management Center and is a frequent media guest. Several months ago I received Kevin Hogan's book "The Gift; A Discovery of Happiness, Fulfillment, and Love" as a gift. This book is by far the best book I have ever read! I recommend The Gift to anyone from the young to the young at heart. The book successfully combines mystery, drama, suspense and success into one awesome package. I also recommend this book to anyone facing a life transition. Without giving too much of the story line away, the gift is about an individual who returns home following his grandfathers death to learn many of life's great lessons and realize just how much of an impact he can make in this world. Receiving The Gift has helped me to realize just how much of a potential we all have in making differences within the lives of others because we are the creators of our own destiny.

I read this mostly to satisfy a friend...and now I'm trying to find as many copies as I can to give as gifts. The message in the book is very powerful, and it's told in a delightful way. In fact, I've been looking for books to teach these kinds of messages to children; this will definitely be one of them!

I received this book as a gift. It is an enchanting book. I don't think I've ever called a book enchanting, but this one is.

One day I left this book on our living room coffee table. My brother has many clients who come in and they all would pick it up and start to read it. They all loved it! (I was beginning to feel like we had to frisk clients on the way out the door to make sure they didn't walk off with it!)

One client loved it so much she asked me to find out how she could order ten copies of it for Christmas presents. She felt this book makes a perfect gift - a meaningful pun.

This book is truly uplifting. Every household should have it on their coffee tables! (maybe you'd better have more than one if you have company...)
