Jammin' CD,

I heard the popular single 'Butterfly' on the radio numerous times and I wondered who the heck this group "Crazy Town" was. All that I did know at that time was that I really was into that song and I wanted to hear more songs of the "Gift of Game" album.I download a few off of Napster, namely "Only When I'm Drunk" and "Hollywood Babylon". Let me just say that this CD rocks. I quickly went and bought the CD the same night I heard these songs and I wasn't disappointed. There is such a wide variety of influence in their music from old-school House of Pain and Beastie Boys to the new flavor of Limp Bizkit. If you are into deep beats with hard chords, Crazy Town is the place to be!

Usually I don't give CDs a 4-star rating, much less a 5-star unless they're really good. "The Gift of Game" is a really good CD. From the Limp Bizkit-like "Toxic" to the soothing beats of "Butterfly", this CD covers alot of genres. The best song on this CD is probably "Lollipop Porn" - it has a rockin' beat, well-placed guitars, good scratching in the background, and nice vocals. Go out and buy this CD, no matter what kind of music you like. It'll be worth the money.

PRETTY SMOOTH,

i really enjoy this cd and its a showcase of how to actually put thought into rap lyrics not that it isnt immature at times but shifty and epic have refined flows and they know what theyre doing which is why KRS-1 took enough interest in them to actually make an appearance on the last track.there is also a revamped cover song of the an old RHCP song butterfly which turned out better than the original in my opinion and jay gordon from orgy sings in the chorus on black cloud which is a really phat song.so if you like rap-pimpcore then check this out, standout tracks are 2 4 5 6 9 11 13-later
