I recently purchased this chair for my 2 year old daughter at less than 1/3 of the retail price. It's a good fit for her, although I doubt it wil last longer than a year or 2. The overall appearance is nice, but the quality isn't the best. First, the material is like a linen, so I'm unsure about the durability and I doubt it would be easy to clean up. I expected something softer or more plush. The wood frame part has an odd matte finish, which I also think will appear dirty very quickly. The padding in the chair feels like it's sinking and won't be comfortable for long. It's for for a 25 lb child, but I'm not sure it would hold up long with a 50 lb child.
Overall, I'm happy with the purchase when comparing it to plastic chairs or those printed with characters. It's very sweet looking and my little girl is happy to have it. I wish it was made with better, washable or more durable materials, but I'm satisfied with this purchase. I would rate it 3 stars, if I had paid more. |
