Cute Wooden Toy Chest
I love the look of this item. It's competitively priced. The special hinge on the lid so it doesn't slam shut is a good feature.

Horrible, horrible, horrible!!!
The wood split when I tried to screw the hinges on. Also, the top wood split as soon as I took it out of the box and the hinges were very stiff. I never even got the thing together. It was horrible and a complete waste of money. DO NOT BUY!

The instructions included were for a different model and the safety hinges are stupid. They just lock the chest slightly ajar so that the child has no way of closing it at all. I should have taken my $100 and gone to Ikea. We will use the toy chest but I don't recommend it in any way.

This is he worst product I have ever purchased on Amazon. It is CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP!The assembly is terrible. The screws are not the right size (it splits the wood). The hinges are useless. The paint came out of the box chipped all over. There were parts missing (I had to go to the hardware store). Worst $100 dollars I have ever spent. Ever. I feel like I have been ripped off like never before. Amazon should not sell this item.
