This 'no-name' is just as comfortable as the popular $400 GPA. It's low profile, fits well, is light, and is affordable! I love mine. I was skeptical at first b/c I'd never heard of it, but don't be put off. I think the GPA helmets just haven't figured out they don't have a corner on the market anymore and still think they can charge $400.
I love this helmet! It fits my more oval head better than the more expensive helmets. I have ridden in it every ride for the past few years and am confident of the protection and comfort. Yes, my helmet has faded some due to the sun, but still looks great. It is not bulky nor heavy. The vents allow air flow, so that I don't get too hot. Unfortunately, I had a fall with it and it provided great protection; no head damage nor headache. I was trail riding and landed on a rocky road. The helmet showed a little wear on the microsuade, but no dent. I would strongly recommend this helmet and you can spend the $300 in savings on other horse products or a show or two. Enjoy!
