My infant son was suffering from a nasty diaper rash that wouldn't respond to Desitin and the like. On the advice of his pediatrician, we tried Corona. It worked like a charm!

This stuff draws splinters, softens rough feet, helps wounds heal fast, soothes exzema. I use it on my pets when they come home after a fight and they heal up quickly. I use it on myself, and kids too. It is not just for horses! Sticky and smelly, but it really is great to have around. I keep a 2 oz jar in my car.

I used this product after my father in law recommended it in 1971 for diaper rash for my daughter. It worked and I used it on all skin abraisons and rashes. It is great for hands because it puts a protective barrier against water and substances that cause irratation. I couldn't find it in stores for years but found it on amazon.com. I can't say enough about this product.

We have very active German Shorthaired Pointers and once in a while they have cracked or rough pads. Corona is the best treatment for it. Our dogs keep on booties, so we heavily cream their pads before they go to bed and leave it on overnight. Within a couple of days their paws are 'as good as new'. Highly recommendable!

As an infant my mother says I routinely screamed for hours with horrendous diaper rashes. My grandfather, who had nothing to do with me, came home one day, handed my mother a container of this and gruffly stated, "use this on her!" And that was the end of my diaper rashes. My youngest daughter gets horrible horrible red raw and bleeding diaper rashes, moments after a bowl movement. My pediatrician brilliantly stated, "she has sensitive skin. Duh! "Try and use differnt diaper rash creams." Of course I complained to my mother about my pediatricians brilliant suggestion. (As if I hadn't already tried every single cream at the store already!) My mother reminded me of her "old time" remedy. She promptly ordered me a jar of corona and it was truly a miracle cream compared to the on the market diaper rash creams. My daughter had never screamed or cried since from a diaper rash. If she looks at all red we apply this cream and it gone within a few hours. I recently gave some of this cream to a girlfriend who's baby had a sever diaper rash. My girlfriend is now hooked on the stuff too and is also calling it a "miracle cream!" The formula has changed as of Feb 2011-- my original review recommended the product but now it's no longer good for the baby!

Is now 30% lanolin (original had 50%)
Now also contains Disodium EDTA (original did not have this chemical)

You decide. My preliminary research indicates that Disodium EDTA is no good for babies!!!!!!!

I started using this myself when I noticed how soft my hands were after rubbing this on a horses sunburned nose and now it's the only thing my parents will use on their feet. It is very thick and has a distinct antiseptic smell but that fades and the ointment soaks in if you give it a chance. It will draw out a stubborn splinter, fix cracked heels and hangnails overnight, heal bad diaper rash and I swear it melts away thick calluses. I'm a vet tech and have to wash my hands a lot and this it the only thing that helps them in the winter. It belongs in every medicine cabinet.
