Get it while it's in print,

This book seems to go in and out of print. Whenever I see it available, I buy several copies to hand out to friends. This collection of short stories is nowhere near as frivolous as its topic might lead you to believe - this author has a caring heart which details lovingly each character she creates, set against a vivid backdrop of the Russian steppes. This could almost be considered fictional anthropology.
