Smaller than I thought they would be, the rope crams the pots together and does not hold the pots securely. The pots were damaged before I even really had a chance to hand them up or enjoy them. I would not recommend them to a friend.

These pots are so cute, and just the right size for a mini herb garden. They don't look cheap, just rustic- in a good way. I have to say, in response to another reviewer, they were never intended for outdoor use. Yes, rain does chip paint, drown plants, and rot ropes. But I don't believe that bad gardening can be blamed on the choice of pots. Also keep in mind, herbs prefer only around 3 seeds in a pot this size.

I saw this product on this company's website (Furniture Creations) and on that ad over there those pots were hanging on outdoor patio. I liked the idea and bought it for my own patio.
I really wanted to like this item - I loved the idea of herbs or little flowers hanging from tiny pots. But there were so many problems it's hard to know where to start!
It doesn't have a hole in the bottom so it is really hard to keep normal moisture level. When I placed it outside the rain killed everything. Several mornings I woke up, it had rained during the night, didn't even matter how much, and the pots were full of water, I emptied the water as soon as I could but the damage was done. I was actually spending my days, when I knew it would rain, covering them with plastic bags so the rain wouldn't damage them but I just couldn't get there on time to save them from every rain.
You can't use it outside although the ad pic I saw showed them outdoors.
Then I brought it inside. But even here where I could control the amount of water I still couldn't get it right and plants died.
Plus they look like little clay pots. Which they are. So imagine my surprise when I found out that the color started peeling off. The pretty clay like color is more like a paper wrapped around the clay pots. The painting work is really well done, it really looks like in some places the clay comes through the color, but it is fake. I wouldn't of believed it if I hadn't seen it myself.
Also the wind outside knocked some pots together on more windy days and the mouth of one of those pots broke. And the rope managed to rot when it was outside and I was left with 3 pots together and one separate!

The pots are Medium sized. not tiny and not large. Perfect to what i had expected and they do NOT look cheap. feel them ....They are NOT PLASTIC. i am very happy with my purchase and it was exactly what i was looking for . a touch of color and uniqueness to my patio decor. As of right now i do not have any plants in them and it has not rained so i cannot comment on other reviews saying the rain has ruined them and that they have fill with water although because they are bowls....its easy to presume that the rain will fill them with water however i am not worried about this, its to be expect and i doubt getting the bowls wet will ruin them in any way. Very satisfied with arrival time, quality and detail of hanging flower pots . The picture does not give them justice they look amazing in person and as far as them looking cheap up close......They do not. In fact Im glad i have them placed CLOSE to my patio door as you can see how cheap they are not besides....the definition of cheat to some is different to others ie ...cheap as in obviously they didnt cost you 50$-100$ or cheap as in the materials/look of the product.
No they arent going to look like you spent high dollar for them...they are only hanging bowls after all but do they look cheap (dollar store) or Plastic/Poorly made, no they do not!

I was hesitant to order these after reading the other two reviews, but I went ahead and gave them a shot anyway. They're great! Yes, they're small (probably between 1.5 and 2 cups), but I wanted something small, and the quality is just fine. I'd definitely recommend them.

I love these pots! I have decided to hang them in my kitchen window sill right above my sink. The delivery was unbelievably fast, and when I contacted the seller with a question, his response was so prompt! He responded within the hour. I recommend this item and I recommend the seller. Very happy customer!

I am very disappointed in these pots. They might be big enough for a small succulent, but that's it. Each pot is small enough for me to wrap my whole hand around it. When they arrived, the rope was all knotted, so the pots were all (as another reviewer put it) crammed together. Because of that, one of them has a crack in it. The picture makes it seem like each pot has its own rope, which is NOT the case. There are two pots per rope, which is another reason they're all crammed together. The ropes are also too short and is very poor quality. I can see why another reviewer had issues with it rotting after it got wet.

Otherwise, the colors are exactly as they look in the picture. These are cute pots, but still not what I was expecting. A little pricey for the size ($12.38 when I bought them--I would have expected to pay closer to $5-$8, had I known what I was getting). The paint seems cheap, but it feels like it's actually been painted. The paint hasn't been sealed, though. If you buy these, be sure to buy a can of clear coating to spray them with so the paint doesn't flake off.

Overall, I'm not very happy with these, but I think I can make them work. I have some hens and chickens that might be cute in them.

ETA: I decided that I wanted to put them outside, so I triple-coated them in Krylon UV Resistant Acrylic Coating Spray (you can get it on Amazon or at Wal-Mart--or just use whatever brand you prefer, just make sure it's weather resistant). I also coated the rope with it. Besides protecting my pots from fading, this spray is also moisture resistant. It has rained nearly every day since I put the pots outside and, so far, they're doing great.
