The affirmations are ok - but do not purchase this deck if you are interested in Goddess art. This is not a deck for Goddess worshippers but more for the general public or people who like affirmation cards. The art is Victorian and there are no specific Goddesses depicted.

I've been using this deck of affirmation cards every day and it sure seems like they are helping me to overcome some habits I have that I'm not too happy with. Equally important, they are helping me to deal with a very sad situation I'm in the middle of. There is wisdom in the words that are printed on these cards and the artwork by Amy Zerner is simply amazing. They are fabric collage tapestries and, though they are small in size, they are gorgeous. You will enjoy buying, owning, and using "Gifts of The Goddess" affirmation cards if you are a woman or a man.

I prefer to start my day by drawing one of the Gifts of the Goddess cards! Seriously, I am always amazed at how dead-on accurate the cards are. Now, this is NOT a deck that goes into a lot of detail about the Goddesses. It is more of an uplifting, affirmation deck. Personally, I can use some upliftment and positive energy to start my day with...or for any other time of the day! Great deck to give as a gift for those that are new to "all this woohoo stuff" as it will ease them into the concept of oracle deck. Enjoy this deck for what it is - a warm, fuzzy on a card!

These cards orginally were given to me as a gift...today I find myself buying them for someone else...They are truly inspirational and motivational. They help you sort out your own obstacles and face them with with desire to change for the better.

Yes, perhaps for some the illustrations are not as colorful and picturesque as other cards, but the content is a wonderul guide to success and freedom in all different levels.
I strongly reccommend them...They are a beautiful gift full of wisdom!

These cards are an excellent way to start your day or calm your mood when in a tough situation. Everytime I pull a random card--> they always speak to the situation that I am in.

I love these. I've been using them for about a year now. I just sort through the deck and choose whichever card appeals to me most at the moment. Then I display it next to my bedside as a reminder to myself.

The affirmations are down to earth and useful, rather than being too esoteric.

Great for first timers in "tarot". But even better to change one's way of thinking to a more positive and pro-active light.
