5.0 out of 5 stars Bag's Groove
This sale-priced item is a great value, and its strength, light weight, and features blow away the competition. IT's made of strong dernier material with excellent reinforcing, oversized easy pull zippers, and piped edging along most of the seams. It can be strapped on like a backpack, or picked up by a handstrap placed slightly (although probably not quite enough)...

3.0 out of 5 stars high quality, but not protective for the instrument
Band teachers dont like this bag. it is more protective than a backpack, but it does not give the protection like the hard-box case.
Dented instruments cost $60-100 to fix, and can affect the tone. So this bag is good for adults, but not middle schoolers.

This sale-priced item is a great value, and its strength, light weight, and features blow away the competition. IT's made of strong dernier material with excellent reinforcing, oversized easy pull zippers, and piped edging along most of the seams. It can be strapped on like a backpack, or picked up by a handstrap placed slightly (although probably not quite enough) towards the heavy end of the bag (where the trumpet bell goes). Bright accent colors increase its visibility.

There's a large central interior for the trumpet with thick, soft padding--this thing looks built to last. There are two large exterior compartments as well, one of which has five pockets of varying sizes to hold extra valves, mouthpieces and other accesories. The other compartment has no pockets but could hold some sheet music, a microphone, a metronome, and/or other assorted gadgets. This is a sturdy and easily portable trumpet case that has become increasingly popular. It may also be bungeed to a bike rack, although you'll need several cords, and the weight distribution may be difficult for some.
