Motherboard Size
Motherboards come in a variety of sizes for different applications. You will want to make sure your computer case is designed to hold the size of motherboard you buy. Smaller motherboards have less connections for components, but are useful when you need a PC that won't take up a lot of space.

What Other Items Do Customers Buy After Viewing This Item?
Pros: No functionality problems whatsoever. BIOS is very feature rich. Plus it looks cool, great for if you have some 14 year olds you need to impress.
Cons: Only one PCI EX16 slot, the other is PCI EX8. Not great for SLI/crossfire. Onboard audio is mediocre, there's always a very faint hissing through my speakers. This may be common for all motherboards, I'm not sure. Planning on buying an external DAC.

Pre-emptive rating - I don't own one yet. I purchased the similar Gigabyte GA-Z87M-A3H in July 2013 and had no problems until I installed the Gigabyte motherboard utilities just now so I could upgrade the BIOS from the delivered version F8 to the new version F9. The BIOS upgraded OK, but the keyboard stopped working in the USB port it was in, closest to the PS2 connector. PS2 keyboards still work, but USB keyboards work only when they're connected to a USB 3.0 port on the rear panel. This may be caused by the "USB Blocker" utility included in the MB utilities, which seems to block certain ports even when it isn't told to. The Gigabyte utilities seem to be typical of those included with most recent Taiwanese motherboards - confusing UI with dark, hard-to-read colors and flaky behavior, like something a second year BSCS student might have written.
The GA-Z87X-A3H may or may not have this fixed; I'm going to stick my neck out and buy one for my next build. Again, the caveat against trusting the included crapware could be applied equally to most newer motherboards, unless you're willing to spend $500 on an Intel Z87 board. If the GA-Z87X-A3H is as rock solid as my GA-Z87M-A3H has been, I recommend it to anyone.
