Be sure to have a motherboard that has the USB 3.0 header, like the 760G USB 3.0.

Everyone can read product specs on their own so I'm not going ramble on and on with tech details. And if you're concerned at all with a few negative comments you may see scattered on Amazon, also check the reviews on Tiger and Newegg which tend to have more tech savvy reviews. You'll find plenty of good reviews there.
Okay, my comments on this board. This mobo has a very solid feel to it. A quick visual inspection shows the quality you'd expect from Gigabyte. I bought it to pair with the AMD3+ FX-6100 processor and 8Gb of Corsair memory. Also, I installed Ubuntu 12.10 which I'm surprised to say I love. Enough tech.
It was absolutely the easiest board I've ever installed. It's well marked and everything in my opinion is in an easily accessed place. The cpu/heatsink mount works smoothly and makes a really snug fit without feeling like you're going to snap something off. It was great having an old faithful IDE header so I could use my two favorite optical drives I've been using for years. It was also good to know there's connections for so many device types, should I need them. And yes, it's true, the SATA is 2, not 3. And I do not care. Seriously, if SATA2 is a deal breaker for you, it's pretty unlikely you'll be shopping this mobo in the first place. AND if you do a little reading and research you'll know that almost nothing on the market right now fully utilizes the ability of a SATA2 hard drive, much less a SATA3 so you folks that act so indignant about this board only having SATA2 should take a deep breath, have a cup of tea, and stop terrifying the people who are reading reviews.
One reviewer referred to this mobo as "old". It's not. It's for folks like myself who need to move up from what they're using but still need support for some legacy devices.

I got this board for almost nothing during a CPU/Mobo combo sale. I have this board paired with an.FX 8350 AMD FX-8350 FX-Series Eight-Core Processor Edition, Black AM3 FD8350FRHKBOX and running OC'd at 4.5GHz on air with a Hyper 212 EVO. Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120mm PWM Fan (RR-212E-20PK-R2) I have 16gb of Ballistix sport 1600 DDR3 RAM Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB kit (8GBx2) DDR3-1600 1.5V 240-Pin UDIMM BLS2CP8G3D1609DS1S00 running at 1600 even though the board only says 1333+...I don't know maybe it configured itself....just happy it did! I'm also runnning a GTX 550i graphics card.

If you are pairing this with an FX chip, the front of this Mobo box should say in red with white lettering "NEW AM3+ CPU/BIOS INSTALLED". Also check that REV 4.1 is printed on the board itself, and the BIOS is updated to F4. For the price its really hard for me to complain about this board! BUT! There are a couple of things... 1st if your planning on adding a graphics card ....its going to cover the PCIex1 slot for sure. I though about buying an extender cable for the Graphics PCI x16 slot and rigging something...but I'll try that later. 2nd while it does have USB3... It only has SATA II conncections. On the plus side it does have VRM cooling for the RAM!

For those interested ....I'm stable with my multiplyer up 4500mhz, Vcore @ 1.

This is a great budget board. It has a USB 3.0 header, is basically as cheap as AM3+ motherboards come, and it looks half decent. I don't know if the durability claim is bogus or not yet, but so far so good.

I ran an FX-8320 in this just fine at stock speeds. When trying to overclock it could not handle it at all. It was unstable and made some very unsettling high pitched squeals. I don't think it damaged anything, I just think there is probably a mosfet or other similar on board device that isn't properly attached. I had a mosfet lose on a motherboard many years ago that made the same sound only 4x worse and basically all of the time. A little super glue fixed it right up, but it is a testament to the (lack of) build qualify of the board.

Also, the heat sinks for the voltage regulators and northbridge/southbridge all seem to be very loose and when you press on them slightly you can feel them easily rock back and forth. The thermal contact can't be that great if they just loosely sit there.

The interface for the BIOS is pretty decent, and I haven't had any major problems out of the board so far. I would think this would be very well suited for something like an HTPC or a budget PC that you aren't planning on overclocking.

If you're planning on overclocking, especially if you're hoping to get all you can out of your chip, I can not recommend this board at all. With no other changes, just a motherboard change, I was able to get at least twice the overclock out of my processor. I also am quite sure with my new motherboard the CPU is getting much cleaner voltage and therefore I don't worry about it dying due to dirty voltage like I would have if I continued using this mobo.
