Nice adjustable dpi switch also.

It is very accurate and I code at night when in bed and found the mouse works great directly on the bed as well as any other surface I throw at it.

For under $20, this is easily the best mouse I have ever owned. I do a lot of gaming and a lot of normal desktop work, and this mouse is just great for both.

For most people, the DPI switch (which switches from 800 to 1600 DPI instantly) will be useful, but I don't like going over 800 DPI, so I never use it. The looks and feel of the mouse are good, it doesn't feel cheap and it doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart on me. It worked instantly out of the box, and the two buttons on the side are useful for Ventrilo or other hotkeys in games.

I only have a few complaints about it. Parts of the mouse are shiny, and anything that your hand constantly touches shouldn't be shiny.

The places that your thumb and fingers go on the mouse have this material that is already easy to grip, but then there's a bunch of "holes" or "divest" in the material. I'm guessing this is to make it easier to grip, but the material it had before was already good enough for that. I can't imagine it's easy to clean each individual hole.

The cable is also short. It's a cheap mouse, so I can't really complain about that, but if it were 6 inches longer it would be infinitely better.

Overall, great mouse, great buy, the rest is just me nit-picking about ease of cleanliness.

Very, Very Good Mouse. My last 2 wireless mouses were the Microsoft 5000 and 6000 v.2 and I had issues with both of them with Windows 7. This mouse was one third the cost with 3 times the performance and is very precise and has perfect tracking. Very nice fit and feel in my relatively large hand. Easy to pick up and reposition. Nice adjustable dpi switch also. Could have been a little heavier. My only con is that there was no mention anywhere about how to program the buttons or how to adjust the scroll rate. Nothing, anywhere. Even my driver scan program didn't detect any drivers for it. I finally found the driver for it on the Gigabyte web site and now I am able to program all the buttons just the way I like to. Also you can't beat the price either!!!

For twenty bucks after shipping, I was quite pleased with the performance of this mouse. The scroll wheel is smooth and doesn't make my finger sore, and clicks are a bit mushy, but sensitive. The forward/back buttons are positioned such that I don't constantly worry about hitting them accidentally like I do with some mice.

I particularly like the ability to switch the sensitivity on the fly. It's great for FPS where a lighter touch is required for sniping, but response is needed close up.

My biggest complaint is that the cord is very stiff and will "push" the mouse unless it is carefully positioned. Otherwise, great mouse.

Although this is not the highest DPI mouse out there, it does not need to be so. Performance is up to what I expected. For the price, this is a steal! I've had a Gigabyte motherboard for my first build, so I know they deliver quality for you bucks.

Pros
*Excellent padding on both sides of the mouse...no longer will the excuse of losing your mouse's grip be accepted.
*DPI button smack-dab in the middle of where it is supposed to be.
*Side buttons add extra functionality and game enjoyment once programmed.
Works as a history mechanism on Windows Explorer and web browsers.
*Design is not cumbersome.
*Finally, no intrusive and resource hogging Human Interface Device programs at start-up...
just a 1.1MB process running at 0% of CPU time.

Cons
*Paid a visit to Gigabyte's website to download the drivers for added functionality to extra buttons. Should have been included.

Overall
*Great product for a great price. Should improve my BF3 scores with this now.

WOW just WOW! I have just received this mouse today and already i intend to purchase another one for my other desktop! The mouse is very comfortable and easy to use. It is plug and play so no need to install any drivers! Scrolling is so quite that i had to actually look to see if i was actually turning the wheel. I just love the side button makes moving back and forth through webpages easy and convenient. DPI button allows for easy switch between fast moving and slow moving pointer sliding which is a godsend for me as i do a lot of reading, document modding as well as gaming. the control for this mouse is well just WOW! My handling in SWTOR (star wars the old republic) has made me even better at pvp. Everything seems to just respond better compared to regular mouse. I can face quicker without turning 360 degrees, i can pan in and out with total control. When i click skills i do not need to double click to use them. This is an excellent mouse for gaming as well as non-gaming.

If you're looking for a cheap mouse with adjustable dpi, and side buttons, this is great. Has two side buttons that are located in the universal place where most other companies place them too. Only con is I wish the mouse had more weight, it's pretty light.

This is a very good mouse, well constructed, and works well for people with large hands like mines, if you are a gamer you will like this mouse, and you will love it's price compared to other gaming mouses costing 3 times as much.. the buttons are ergonomically placed and after 6 months of rough use, nothing has broken... update if mouse is not performing up to par, down their driver from here: [...]
