In a nutshell:
You should buy this if: You're new to custom PC building and want to play around with a little bit of overclocking while using a case that's smaller than the full size behemoths that most enthusiasts use, but not push things so far you risk damaging your equipment.
You should NOT buy this if: A) You're not looking to overclock at all. Pick a H77 board instead, which will probably have more features while being $10-$20 less expensive. B) Are an experience enthusiast who needed fine control in order to maximize your OC. C) You need a lot of audio out options and you don't have a pro sound card.

All in all, this is a great little board. My goal was to overclock my new Ivy Bridge (Intel i5-35xx series/i7-3700 series) by about 10%, and I more than met that goal. Being a MicroATX board in a mATX case, plug placement can be crucial, and this board has a great layout. The front panel USB3.0 connector is set back almost an inch from most other 7 series boards, which was critical in my case (Silverstone TJ08B-E) since the front USB3.0 cable is quite long and thick. It just couldn't work its way around the other board I tried. Like most Z77 boards, this one has 2xUSB3 ports in the back, plus the plug for another two in the front. That's 8 USB ports in total (4x2.0, 4x3.0). No need for a PC card.

I didn't use the bundled auto-tune application, because it wasn't able to boot into the OS when enabled, so I adjusted everything manually. The BIOS/UEFI features are easy to use. With the 3D mode, you boot into BIOS, click the CPU diagram and set your multiplier. If you push it too hard, which is entirely possible since it doesn't give you voltage control, you fortunately have a backup BIOS that will kick in if you mess up.

the bio thing is easy to use but wish it had more setting to OC after you get use it it but it good still. Its running my I5k 2500 at 4.4 ghz and going strong still after more then a year which is really good since I thought it would melt or some thing (new to all this for the most part).

This is a very fast motherboard, it's small, very easy to set up and would be rated 5 stars if Gigabyte didn't strip their product by making all connection cables optional. It has a serial port header, a parallel port header, and many USB headers, but in order to actually use these fantastic features, you need to purchase the cables separately. Yes, you must spit out more cash (none of them cost less than US$10 each), so this little baby will amount to over $160. For that amount, you can get a much better board. Oh, did I mention that Gigabyte uses an unusual pinout in its printer/LPT cable (12CF1-1LP001-01R)? That makes it even harder (not to say more expensive) to find these cables.

Bottom line: this board is an excellent choice if what you need is already available on the back panel. If you need more than that, keep shopping.
