If you took Deathstars, Rob Zombie, NIN, Frontline Assembly, and the Chemical Brothers, threw them all in a bottle and shook vigorously, Dope Stars Inc. would explode out of it. I've been a fan of industrial metal for a long time and this hits the spot like few other artists can. The variety of the songs is icing on the cake- groovin' goth-club dance rock, thundering heavy metal riffs and jackhammer double bass, mournful yet still driving industrial rock ballads, and sweaty sexy club beats. The vocals are raw and mostly sung/yelled, sounding very similar to early Rob Zombie at times, and every instrument is on full throttle. There is a liberal sprinkling of 80's wave hipness and punk rock attitude throughout the album. It's heavily synthesized and effects-laden, ala Celldweller, but not in a way that interrupts the flow of the song. Celldweller sometimes overdoes the effects just to show off, but DSI's traditional and synthesized instruments compliment each other perfectly. If you want to bob your head, shake your booty, mosh in your living room, or ponder futuristic soundscapes, Gigaheartz has everything you want and more. It will get you movin'.

Gigahearts is awesome! I love every song on this cd. If you are familiar with their music you will love it. If you are new to their music you will not be disappointed! It's Dope Stars Inc's best cd ever!

I've heard of industrial metal bands popping up from all over Europe but never from Italy until I heard Dope Stars Inc. These guys are supurb, fantastic, even unbelievably crazy talented!... No, I'm not exaggerating. Once I heard Gigahearts I had the insatiable urge to buy/download/get everything they've released up until now 2009. To my delight I found that it was all phenomenal!

Basically tracks 2-8 are all incredible and the rest aren't anything to be under-estimate either. It's hard to pick but my favorites are probably Beatcrusher, Can You Imagine, Bang Your Head and Just the Same for You.

If you're a fan of bands like Rammstein, Eisbrecher, Combichrist, Crossbreed, Celldweller or even Nine Inch Nails give this album a listen and prepare to buy/download/get everything available by Dope Stars Inc.

"Young, Loud, and Synthesized" - Dope Stars Inc.

This has to be one of my favorite cd's. That being said, their prior albums are just as good. It is difficult to compare any Dope Stars Inc. album with one another. 'Neuromance' and 'Make A Star EP' both carved new ground in the industrial genre in different ways. The music on those two albums, as well as "Gigahearts" keep you glued to the music and bangin' your head. 'Such variances and intricacies.

Back to this album: One must indulge in this album to even conceive how good they are. I would say that near all of these tracks are unique. Even for non industrial or non cyber-punk fans I am willing to say that you'll at least like the more melodic tracks like: "Can You Imagine" and "Just The Same For You". Victor, Grace, Alex, and Darin made up one of the greatest bands imaginable. The programing, the vocals, 'carefully stroked in guitar work' are what made this album.

The lyrics are good, but one must consider that English is only a second language to these Italian artists. This is a great cd for any industrial or cyberpunk fan.

I pre-ordered this album before it came out and still listen to it as frequently as I ever have.

I agree with the first review - this is a great, loud, industrial sounding album. Their lyrics are stronger than most American bands, and English is their second language!
