these beans were great.....especially for non meat eaters. When rehydrated they are about 3 inches long, with a good flavor.

These are my new favorite beans, and I'm so lucky to have found them. Shipped me two lbs worth very quickly.

Don't make the same mistake I did! Please be aware that the shipping charge for this one pound bag of beans costing $4.49 is $10.78.

These beans may well be delicious, I will find out after I cook them. But let's be realistic --one pound of dried beans is simply not worth $15.00.

This review does not pertain to the quality of the beans but the ridiculous shipping charges of this company. I will not be buying from this retailer again.

This was my second order of product as I loved them so much. I checked the wrong box on my order and they called me on the phone to check on it and the correct order arrived immediately. Great stuff. Great outfit.

These beans are very unique making their cost and shipping worth every penny. They are NOT like lima beans or butter beans. There is no substituting other beans for Gigantes when cooking in the Greek tradition. Their size (when cooked) is huge, they are very thick and their texture is creamy and different from any other bean I have eaten. Our family's Christmas tradition every year, baked Greek Gigantes.

This beans are very expensive and i would like to know why ??
But i like mine in salad with red bell peppers and capers, good olive oil and a little bit of thyme.

I can't believe I was duped into ordering this. 5 pounds of 'em and $21.67 shipping. They are nothing more than large lima beans -- at best. They are, in fact, so poorly sorted, that many in the bag are just beyond medium size. Save your money and time. Buy large lima beans in your local grocery store.
