Gigantic Frankenstein Big Frankie by Moebius Models

I wanted this when I was a kid but it was too expensive. The normal sized monster models were only around $1.50 and Big Frankie was about $7.00. So, the rich kids were the only ones that seemed to have one. That was the 60's and finally Gigantic Frankenstein is unleashed again. Of course, now it's around a hundred bucks but worth every penny. Funky and detailed...just waiting for the artist's glue and brush. Big Frankie has lots of personality and makes a good friend through tough times. I got two!

It doesn't fit together as tightly as my first one did back in 1965, but I love it. I blew my first one up with fireworks for a student film in college. Is this one really as big as the original? Seems smaller, but I have only memory to judge it by. Makes me feel like a kid again, with a treasure.

i had this model in 1963 as a 7 year old and have been trying to find it forever and as an avid modeler and monster collector of vintage 1960's model kits etc, this is the grail for all little boys from the 60's and i am thrilled to get it,,,,a must for all modelers and monster hobbyists like myself,,,,this is so great---i have found him! thanks amazon
