Thomas Ellard *is* Severed Heads, and Gigapus is one of his more "popular" oriented records. Some of the tunes drift into a quasi-hypo-trance-dance thing, and the last few tracks are pure ambient. As ever, Tom's humour shines through- in Heart of the Party he laments "Who will tell my drunken friend that she will die and go to hell?"
Perfect.
