5.0 out of 5 stars written by Staff Writer Gina Nonie, May 6, 2009
This review is from: The Giggle Crack ~ an all-too-short Love Story of a Life ExtraOrdinary (Kindle Edition)
Mother's Day is a time to celebrate and honor our mothers - let us face it - we would not be reading this if it were not for them. However, just like any holiday, it can be tough to bear for those of us without mothers, especially if she happened to pass, on Mother's Day itself. What could be worse than losing your mother on Mother's Day? How about dying on Mother's Day yourself, two years later.
Such is the case of Zachery Noah Kunzler.
Forgive us for this sobering topic, but we share this story anyway, as a tribute to Zack, who died a hero at the tender age of 24, bravely jumping into the raging ocean at Laguna Niguel, CA, to save the life of a drowning 6 year old girl.

This 6 year old girl is now alive and thriving today, a healthy 17 year old, thanks to Zack's courage 11 years ago, on Mother's Day. Courage and sacrifice.

Zachery had lost his mother Paulette, on Mother's Day, 1996. She passed away on that day exactly. Two years later, on 1998, it was still particularly difficult for him to face this occasion. So he decided to cheer himself up with a picnic at Giggle Crack, off Diver's Cove, in Laguna Niguel, with his special friend Angela and her 6 year old daughter Brooke.

A giant wave unexpectedly overcame this picnic on the rocks and little Brooke was washed off to sea. Without thinking about themselves, both the mother Angie and Zack jumped into the churning waters, and yes, successfully saved the little girl.
Unfortunately, neither survived, and Zack ended up going several hours later, at Saddleback Hospital, on Mother's Day, exactly two years to the day after his own mother had passed.

Coincidence? Courage?
The short story has recently been published through the eyes of one of Zack's beloved, actress Veronica Grey, in memory of the prince who gave his life 11 years ago, in a work titled,
"The Giggle Crack
An all-too-short love story
of a Life Extraordinary."

"The Giggle Crack" is available exclusively on Kindle, because, aside from being Amazon's eBook reader, Kindle means to ignite, as in a flame, and Veronica's intention is to hold the eternal flame of love burning in honor of Zachery's spirit. This short 14-page labor of love includes haunting photographs of the drowning site. Kindle now hosts the all-too-short love story of these two artists as the name "Kunzler" actually means "artist" in Austrian.

So when we recognize our mothers on Mother's Day, let us also hold in prayer those who have gone before us, especially on this date itself.

Namaste.

It is sad that you are trying to profit off the death of someone and try to make it seem like you were so touched by this tragedy. The only thing that I could think of while reading this was that you must be a desperate person to write this. Next time, try to get your facts staright before you capitalize on someone else's life. Thanks.
