My daughter is little over three years old and I had bought this software about a year ago directly from the founder of Giggles, since he lives in the Rochester, NY area. At first I was worried that the software is for babies and my toddler may not be interested. Not so! She loves the program even more now. Her knowledge of shapes and use of computers impresses even her teachers at the day-care.

I know for a fact that much research and hard-work had gone into the development of this software and it shows mightily; especially when compared to other products of similar genre.

I can't wait for the new products Giggles Software is developing.

I really like this software for my daughter. She always wanted to play with my laptop and I didn't want her messing something up. As soon as I put this on my computer she fell in love with it. She mostly likes letting the music video run and she can change the colors. This software is completely worth the money if you have a curious child.

I purchased both Giggles Shapes and Giggles Animals for my 5 month old boy after I noticed I could not get on my home computer or my laptop with him wanting to hit the keys.
This program is very entertaining and teaches babies cause and effect, and has a good music selection that my baby likes.
I would highly recommend this program to any parent that has a child from 3 months to 2yrs.
My 9 year old boy even enjoys playing with these programs!

I don't own these products yet but was just in the company's website and they now offer these in both English and Spanish!!! You don't even need to buy them separate, they are both included at no additional charge. I don't know if the ones sold here are for this new version (I can't find mention of it in the description) but that was definitely the selling point for me. I'll probably be buying them from the company's website to be sure I get the Spanish included. Hopes this helps anyone who like me was hesitant because of the English-only feature.

My 19 month old LOVES this software. He loves nothing more than to sit at our desk like a big boy and tap (and by "tap", I mean "pound") on our keyboard. The music is great, the colors are bright and it's just plain fun for him.

The only drawback comes with the screensaver. The screensaver itself is genius, but if you have the misfortune of running Windows XP, it's possible for your little one to hit the wrong key combination and cause a few problems. However, the screensaver is just for a deterrent to keep what you're working on from getting investigated by little typers, and hopefully you can catch them before they accidentally re-format your hard drive!

This software is great and I plan on buying any others they have. I would recommend this to anyone with babies and toddlers.

Our precocious, fussy, 'hard to satisfy' 2 year old little lady seems to have a short attention span for most toys and software, but this 'Giggles Computer Funtime Shapes' is an exception. She absolutely LOVES the software, and it is very simple to use (press any key), and the music choices are excellent! We will undoubtedly look at all the other 'Giggles' series as well. Kudos to this company for releasing a quality piece of software for learning toddlers that manages to keep their attention.

he seems to know it's not an important file he can alter which is what he would do when we would allow him to bang on the keyboard. he was curious for the first few times playing on it but would rather bang on the keyboard to make the dvd drive open, adjust the volume and other things that would make the hair on my neck stand up. but the characters and actions are cute and he smiles when he sees them. maybe when he approaches two will he be able to appreciate it more. it's the only game we could find that's appropriate for a young toddler that would work on a mac. i'd say give it a try. .... follow up to this review.... now our toddler is 2 1/2 yrs old and can navigate thru the computer really well. he enjoys this cd and can control the songs and games. well worth it but maybe wait until your child is 2.

This is the best baby/toddler computer game I have seen. My one year old loves it. She asks to play it all the time. It is easy for her to use. Just banging on the keyboard causes things to happen. She has learned how to use the mouse all on her own. Great colors, pleasent music (You can change the tune to suit baby's mood.) No waiting around for instructions, just click and go. Most baby/toddler games expect kids to sit through a lot of talking. This one does not. My version also came with a "screen saver" that can be installed so that if you leave the computer unatended one of the games comes up on the screen and sneaky little toddlers have a harder time messing up your files when they bang on the keyboard. The game is rated for ages 6-24 months. I hope they come out with a 2-3 year old version soon!

I bought this for my son when he was about 6 months old. He loved it then & he's 2 1/2 now & he STILL loves it! The lil stinker knows the GIGGLES desktop icon at the bottom of the computer screen. He dances to the music as he plays on the keyboard. My 9 month old daughter is now LOVING it too! This is SO wonderful, that I just purchased the 2nd GIGGLES baby software game, "SHAPES" & I can't be more happier! A very WISE investment from one HAPPY mom & 2 babies!

I bought these for my grandchild when she was 1, and she loved to watch the bright colors and motion. As she grew to be 2, she could use the computer herself to have fun with this disk. Very much fun for them and simple and easy to use.
