Giggling Elmo Plush - Size: 12-18 months

I bought this for my 21 month old daughter for halloween, as she is a huge Elmo fan. Although it is a huge hit, I do have to warn you that the costume is not red- it's more orange-red. I got slippers to match but even though they both have the Sesame Street label on them, the slippers were a true red while the costume is obviously not.

The costume itself is very soft & seems comfortable inside. My daughter's favorite part of the costume is the giggling sound it makes when you presh a buttom (located on the side). It was very cute & always made her smile and laugh when she heard it. The costume does shed a bit- I had on a black outfit for halloween & I found tons of little orange-red fibers all over me after picking her up. Also, the elmo hood part of the costume makes it look a bit like Elmo swallowed my daughter's head! Despite these "problems" I thought the costume was great. It was a huge hit with her and she was adorable. Also, she stills wears it occassionally to play dress up with. We bought the 2T since she is tall for her age, and though it wasn't huge on her, there is enough room to grow so she can use it for a few more months.

I love this elmo costume! the audio box works perfect too. It was just the right size for my 23mo. old. I hope he doesn't grow over the next month because it just might not fit him. It's sooo adorable. The costume isn't bright red though, it's kind of a reddish orange. My son loves it.

I bought this for my two year old son for Halloween. I was impressed with the quality of the costume as well as the softness of the material. The size was a little big for my son, but it was very easy to roll up the pants and sleeves (and they stayed put). It is very cute on, but my son would rather carry it around as an Elmo "doll" than wear it!! The giggle sound is great; my son loved the fact that he could make Elmo "giggle". If it gets too annoying you can remove it from the pocket very easily. Overall: great product, well made, very durable, and I highly recommend it for any Elmo fan!

This is not really a toy, so the questions didn't apply. I bought this as a Halloween costume for my 2 year old son. He loves it. It is good quality. It has a recorded voice box in the pocket which kind of freaked him out. It was easy to remove, and now he wants to wear the costume all the time.

This is a very cute and good quality costume, but it does have one flaw: if you don't wash it first, it leaves red fuzz everywhere (all over your clothes, the car seat, the stroller...). After one wash, the lint was under control. We own a similar Cookie Monster costume (listed on Amazon as "Cookie Monster Deluxe Two-Sided Plush Jumpsuit Costume" by Sesame Street), and it never had any lint issues at all. So 4 stars for this one, while the better costume gets 5. Some things that are great about both: they are nice and warm for chilly Halloween trick-or-treating, people love them, and the kids really like wearing them.

When received this my 20 month old immediately wanted to dress up in it. We played around the house and he enjoyed getting to be Elmo. There is a batter operated pack that is supposed to giggle when you press it and it doesn't work. There is no way to get in and change the battery that I can find. My son is not aware that the costume is not functioning properly so he is still having a blast. As the purchaser and parent though, I find it to be annoying that it doesn't giggle as it should

Our two year old loves this costume. He is an Elmo fan but he doesn't usually like hats or anything over his head so I was nervous that he might not wear it. It is not yet Halloween but he has been asking to wear it 3 times a day! The costume is soft and feels like a fleece material. Our son is almost 3 ft tall so I ordered him the 3T. The sleeves and legs are a tad long but can be roll up with no problem. He definitely will be able to wear it after Halloween. Highly recommend this costume for little Elmo fans out there!

Bought this for my daughter who LOVES elmo. She loves it and drags it around like its a stuffed animal. It is not a true brilliant red like it looks like in the picture. It's slightly orange. Other than that it's perfect!

My son is almost 2 years old. We had purchased an elmo costume a couple days prior which ended up being too small so I found the one on Amazon and purchased it. I received my order within 2 days. I'm very satisfied with Amazon making sure I always receive my orders. The costume was very cute however my son didn't like to wear it for very long. He absolutely loves elmo but the costume I think felt a little bit scratchy on the inside for him. I would recommend making sure the child has long sleeves and long pants but this could be difficult if it's not real chilly outside for trick-or-treating. Also he wouldn't keep the hood on his head. It does seem a bit bulky but I figured it would be ok since it was elmo but my son didn't care. He wore the costume with the hood off which kind of defeated the purpose of the elmo costume. But I did see another child probably a year or two older who did wear the hood and was real cute with the costume. Probably if my son were older and understood halloween better he would have enjoyed the elmo costume more. I'm satisfied with the product I think I purchased it at the wrong time.

I bought this with the intention of putting it aside until Halloween. Well, my 18month old discovered the package and left out a squeal of delight and came running. After giving in and putting it on her, all I could say was "Awwww!" I'm not an Elmo fan, (although she is) but this is absolutely adorable. And so soft! It's more like a snuggly outfit (with a big head) than a costume. Although my husband claims it looks like Elmo ate our daughter, she has wanted to wear it everyday since she opened it. It's cute, and soft and talks! The only bad is it's hard to understand what it says. But the cuteness factor makes up for that.
