5.0 out of 5 stars Intense!
Although this is a low-impact workout (i.e. one foot always stays on the floor), the 60 minute workout is pretty comprehensive. Gilad has an enthusiastic but no-nonsense style which will appeal to those who don't like their workout instructors to be too perky. He spends the first portion of the workout warming up and toning the upper and lower body. Although he's in...

3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty decent work out
I bought this DVD since I like Gilads 45/45 workout DVD so much. The 60 minute workout is pretty good and low impact though not as challenging as the cardio portion of the 45/45 DVD, which does include a fair amount of high impact moves. I do the 60 minute session from time to time on a weekend when I am looking for a moderate workout, don't feel like using weights and my...

This review is from: Gilad: The 60 & 30 Minute Low Impact Workouts (DVD)
Although this is a low-impact workout (i.e. one foot always stays on the floor), the 60 minute workout is pretty comprehensive. Gilad has an enthusiastic but no-nonsense style which will appeal to those who don't like their workout instructors to be too perky. He spends the first portion of the workout warming up and toning the upper and lower body. Although he's in perfect shape, he even gets sore from the exercises (especially the arm toning exercises) he puts you through. The aerobics portion is basic and uncomplicated, and the music is a bit dated (think early 1990s or late 1980s) but it will give you a good cardio workout. The third portion of the workout consists of a comprehensive abdominal and thigh toning routine. The first time I did this workout, I could barely keep up with the abdominal exercises, but after working out consistently for several weeks, my muscles are strong enough to halfway keep up with one of the ab exercises (they move FAST).

The 60 minute workout really gives you a run for your money if your intent is to get into shape without doing high impact. The 30 minute workout only spends about 8 minutes on aerobics, so it's best done as a starter workout if you've never exercised before or if you're short on time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect !, July 25, 2005

This review is from: Gilad: The 60 & 30 Minute Low Impact Workouts (DVD)
This video is perfect for me because it offers two different low ipact workouts, one for 30 min and one for 60 minutes. Gilad's style and chatter and the beautiful Hawaiian beaches, make this a fun, yet productive workout. If you have any physical limitations that prevent you from doing high impact, then this is the video for you.

I'm 64, and I do the 30 minute routine five days a week. I was your typical couch potato but decided to take better care of myself. I feel like a new person since I started following this tape. I was thrilled to find a tape that fit exactly what I wanted to do. I

This is a fine, leveled workout, including stretching, aerobics, abdominal exercises and strength training moves (without weights). Gilad takes you through it with plenty of advance cues and tips to help you change moves smoothly, and position yourself properly for optimum muscle and cardiac work. The 30 minute workout is just right for an early-morning, before work routine. The 60 minute version is an extended workout good for weekends. Much better than most of these videos, this is particularly well suited to middle aged fitness buffs.

This DVD is great. Gilad is very motivating. His instructions during the
exercising are very good. I am 73 years old and this DVD was perfect for me, it was low impact and moved at a pace I could keep up with. I strongly advise you to purchase this DVD if you are a beginner and want to get in shape. Gilad is one of the best!!

I bought this DVD since I like Gilads 45/45 workout DVD so much. The 60 minute workout is pretty good and low impact though not as challenging as the cardio portion of the 45/45 DVD, which does include a fair amount of high impact moves. I do the 60 minute session from time to time on a weekend when I am looking for a moderate workout, don't feel like using weights and my knees are looking for a break. I did the 30 minute session once and didn't find it to be much of a workout so don't think I'll be doing that one too often. I thought it was interesting that Gilad's mother was one of those doing the 30 minute exercises. I must commend her for being in great shape!

Gilad remains a favorite of mine with this great DVD that is easy to follow and a great workout. I can see from the style of clothing that this was recorded quite a while ago but his style of workout and concept on fitness is timeless!

5.0 out of 5 stars Gilad is the best!, August 23, 2006
This review is from: Gilad: The 60 & 30 Minute Low Impact Workouts (DVD)
I have been following him for 2 years. He was on the Fittv channel then my stupid cable took the channel off. I was lost and feeling terrible. Then I decided to order his DVDs. Now I can get myself back on track here. I lost a lot of weight by following a diet and doing his exercises! I hope to do it again! He is one of the best,in my opinion. I will recommend his DVDs to everyone I know.

This is the third Gilad fitness dvd i have. He challanges without straining. i like the way he moves from step to step and his routines can be performed at different intensity levels, so on those days when you can't get real motivated u can follow along and still get a good overall workout, and on the days you want to hit somebody you can jump instead of step and burn it off. I especially like the way he gets the whole body covered,ie abs butt, upper, etc. I like two workouts on one dvd.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what I needed!, December 8, 2007

This review is from: Gilad: The 60 & 30 Minute Low Impact Workouts (DVD)
I am an over 50, slightly out of shape with a bad back, knee, etc. & wanted something to help me get back into the swing of exercising. This is perfect. I love the way the dvd is set up so I can choose which workout to do, whether or not I want to do the warm up or just jump right into the cardio or the floor work. Each segment has the time length it takes & what body parts will be worked. The moves are also easy to follow & I feel as if I am getting a good workout. I really do get breathless & break a sweat! Perfect if you are just getting started.
