Salut!
This is the best produced of the Fanfare releases and the band is the tightest I've heard. They manage to incorporate their famous lightening fast um-pa sound with, dare I say, catchy licks that would put most American jazz musicians to shame. The album notes, by the way, hint at a Gypsy influence on American jazz and by the way Fanfare play, I would be willing to believe that Gypsies not only influenced jazz, but perfected it.

Yikes! One of thier best, April 10, 2007

Not sure about thier being thier best album, it's up there among the best balkan bands. The derivitive of 007 they have is fantastic. As is Sandala and the remaining tracks are full of enjoyment. I hope this group continues to record more albums.
