It tells in simple, folksy style how to succeed in buying the right Long Island home. I found this to be a pleasant guide to use. It will certainly minimize the risk of making costly mistakes in the biggest financial and life style commitment you will ever make. It has a lot more than I ever thought I needed to know about home buying.

Patrick Gillan's book is a real neccessity for anyone buying a home in Long Island's tight real estate market. The "Guide" includes information that is especially useful to a first time buyer about the entire process of making this important purchase - how it works, what documents are needed, how much house can the buyer afford, etc. Don't buy a home without it!
