This is a quality product as advertised that was offered at a decent price; not counterfeit or reconditioned as some of the reviews would like you to believe. Unfortunately anyone can make a review for a product or vender at this site so criticisms can come from anywhere, including competitors.

I have a very thick beard that has always been a good product test for shaving system and this one passed for being what it claimed to be. With the current economic problems and costs rising faster than salaries we are all looking for a good deal, and at the price this item was offered it was a very good deal.

When i read the reviews before buying, I was not sure to buy it or not as many users reported of being getting fake items previosuly.
I still ordered it as I was have few Amazon gift card to finish up. Comes in a nice pack and seems original.. Works good

These are the best blades and there are no equals. The size of the head is small enough to get into tight places but large enough to shave quickly and comfortably. I have a THICK beard and I hate shaving. But when I do, rest assured it will be with a Mach 3. I've tried others and I always come back. I do like the Gillette Fusion but the head is too large for around my nose and other tight areas. The Mach 3 is a perfect balance of all.
I've shaved for forty years and I HATE SHAVING. But I have to so the Mach 3 is there to make it bearable! Actually, the Mach 3 makes it comfortable.

I was hesitant at first to purchase these razor blades as it appears that many people are receiving counterfeit products that were dull and useless. I decided to take a chance as these were being shipped and sold by Amazon so I figured that if I received fakes I would just return them as returns are pretty simple with Amazon.

Well, my razors arrived and they were indeed genuine Gillette razor blades. My shave was smooth and nick free and the blades stayed sharp for several shaves. I included some pics of the product packaging so people can compare the product they are receiving to the ones I got. I have ordered Mach 3 blades from Ebay in the past and received horrible razors packaged in what looked like official packaging but made out of cardboard instead of the plastic that the retail ones come one. Perhaps that is an indication of counterfeits?

I am very pleased with this purchase and will certainly be ordering more. If I end up getting counterfeit product in the future I will definitely update my review.

UPDATE: 05/15/2012- I purchased another order from Amazon and again recieved genuine Gillette razor blades. Whatever the issue was in the past with people getting counterfeit blades seems to have been fixed.

These blades are not sharp and shaving is just painful.
I should have paid more attention to what the other reviewers were saying... I've been using Mach3 cartridges for many years and I strongly believe these are, indeed, NOT the real deal. Extremely disappointing, considering they're sold directly by Amazon.
Buy at your own risk; mines are going straight to the garbage bin.

Can't beat Amazon for the price, real genuine products delivered fast. The price I paid for the quantity of Mach 3 blades is better than wholesale club prices too!!

The razor blades do not seem to be original Mach3 blades but cheap knockoffs or may be faulty ones.
The first blade I used did not give a clean shave in one stroke. I thought may be this is an exception, so I took the second one (from the same pack)
but got the same below par results. Still not convinced that this is a faulty product I used a third blade with same poor shave.
I have been using Mach3 razor for 10 years and am fairly confident that this is a low quality product.

The merchandise arrived promptly after order. I never thought I say this but The razorz that were purchased were of substandard quality and I will never purchase from the vendor again. I threw away all razors after a few trials.

Despite being labeled "Sensitive" these blades have given me more nicks and abrasions than the regular Mach3 blades. I have no idea why. Maybe it's the angle of the blades (?too shallow) or the grabber fins are slowing the flow of the razor over the skin. But the abrasions occur whether the blade is fresh or used for a few days, so it can't be because they dull too quickly. I bought 30 of these babies because of the price and I hate to throw them away but I'm not sure I can wait until I've used them up before going back to the standard blades. Since most other reviewers like the blades and Gillette usually makes great products, I can only conclude I'm an outlier :(

Followup: Just got off phone with Gillette customer service. They were very helpful. They are sending me coupons for the regular Mach 3 blades and took down the details of my complaint. As I said: great company!

For years and years I used some variation of the Gillette Trac 2. These blades gave me a decent shave, and I had no real reason to complain.

I don't remember when I first started using Gillette Mach 3, but I could definitely tell the difference from the first shave. My first impression was that this blade is amazing! I remember how the first time I dragged it across my face I could barely feel it. It was much smoother than any other razor I'd ever used before. Not only was it a smooth shave, but it cleanly took off all my whiskers and did so more perfectly than the Trac 2.

I've noticed, however, that it doesn't take that long before the shave isn't quite as smooth and close as it was at first. And then the blades seem to go into a mode where they give a decent shave for a long time. And then, at some point, I realize it's just not doing the job anymore, and I put in a new blade.

I've never had any problems with the handle, and I've been using the first one I got for years now with no complaints. I solve the price problem of the replacement blades by buying them in bulk on either Ebay or Amazon. I try to get them in bulk like this for less than $2 per cartridge.

There may be better razors or blades out there, but I'm content enough with the Mach 3 that I've stocked up on enough to last me for years!
