I had one of these put ahead of a Gilmour 9400 timer on a hose bib connection. BAD IDEA. The timer shut-off causes a lot of water hammer and this broke the tee. That is, the hammer, after about a month, caused a crack in the tee that allowed a LOT of water leakage.

If you're just looking for a tee for convience then this is a nice one. The knobs on the valve are big and easy to use.

Just DO NOT use it in a constant supply situation where there will be any sort of hard shut off as the plastic WILL crack.

It was so simple to install and works like a charm. Doesn't leak at all and when one or both sides are switched to off, not a drop of water is allowed through.

I don't use this with a timer, like the previous reviewer. It's attached to a hose bib and two hoses (with quick connects.) It works.

Better yet, it's held up under the hot south Florida sun for quite a long time, with no obvious deterioration and no bleaching. I wish I could say that about my hoses and other hardware.

Amazon's pricing is a bit startling. Right now the price is listed as $66.99 with a significant discount which makes the price slightly better than the $5 and change I paid at Lowe's. I'd pick another one up if I thought I'd need one anytime soon, but I expect this to last a long time.
