Kinks too easily,

Overall, I'm satisfied with the hose, but I think it kinks too easilywhen I drag it around my garden. I would have thought that anything named "Platinum" would be the top of the line and be more kink resistant.

Normally, I don't get too worked up over a garden hose - but this one is the best I have ever used. After going through about 4 supposedly "kink free" Costco and Home Depot specials - I finally broke down and bought this hose. No more kinky action - and this time that is a good thing. Just a strong, reliable hose. It is very sturdy, coils up easily and - so far - has not kinked. It is pricey, but not as pricey as replacing a lousy hose every 8-12 months. Costco now carries a "six ply" hose - but this one is 8 ply and feels more substantial.UPDATE: June 2011 - Still going great. Kink free and as good as new. Still the best hose I have ever used and recently ordered another.

Whats not to love about this hose? Its surprisingly light weight, it has a nice large grip on the coupler (which is brass BTW), and they've improved the strain relief by using a spring instead of rubber on the old hoses. If there is a drawback I haven't found it yet.
