Package was missing the siphon tube that goes down into the plastic jar. I believe I read another review where someone else had the same problem.

NOT the same as a foam lance, but at 1/3 the price and without the need of a pressure washer you cant go wrong. Handle has quick connect for easy removal when you just want to use the hose. Or, turn the knob on the gun itself if you like the stream from the gun itself. It takes a bit more soap in the container for the foaming action than you would use if you just used a bucket and water, but not very much more. Easily the most fun I have ever had washing my car.
Pro: Foam gun at a great price. Brass fittings.
Con: None.

Now that I have had the opportunity to use this a few times I can now write a review of it.

This is one of the products the works exactly as it says it does. It is VERY easy to assemble and the quick disconnect on the sprayer nozzle is a GREAT touch! About the only complaint I can think of is they don't mention how or if you are supposed to dilute the soap that goes in the plastic jug.

I use good old Suave (Strawberry scented)hair shampoo in mine. Laugh if you will but this works VERY well and isn't harsh on the paint and is a LOT cheaper than the car wash soaps to boot.It also leaves the car smelling good too HAHA!! A friend told me about using the shampoo some time ago and I have never gone back.

That is where I ran into my quandary about mixing the soap. It is a LARGE container and I was sure I wouldn't use all of that in one setting.I filled the jug about a quarter of the way with water and added about 3 ounces of shampoo .

I can't speak for how the car soap would work, but this worked out beyond my wildest expectations. It dispensed a nice soapy suds that wasn't just a big head type of thing. This made it VERY easy to wipe down the car with a clean sponge. All the dirt was removed in record time and a lot less work than any other way I have tried so far.

After that just disconnect the spray nozzle from the jug and rinse off the car and save for drying it is done.

You can't go wrong buying one of these! It is a great labor saver and actually makes washing your car fun again!

5.0 out of 5 stars My opinion, June 27, 2009

I have been using this to wash my cars and it is good, but since I have it connected to a regular water hose the foaming is okay due to the lack of water pressure.

5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect Way to wash your car!!!, April 6, 2011

This is definitely better than using a bucket of soapy washer to wash your car. I believe you will get a thicker coating of soap using a smaller power washer than just using a garden hose, but either way will be enough to get weeks of winter weather off of your vehicles. I filled the bottle half-way and was able to wash two cars and still had soap left over. i would recommend to anyone because it cuts down on the time you spend washing your car.

Nice heavy-duty unit that feels well balanced. Easy to use and clean when done. I use this to soap my cars when washing them. It was a little pricey at $50, but seems to be worth the money.
