I ordered this becuase I thought there was only one version of the Gilmour Foamaster II. I was wrong, there are 5 or so. Model #95QGF4, the model that I ordered does not come with the foam wand (the long black piece where the foam comes out). I wanted to use this to wash my car and had to return it. I thought I would warn other potential buyers to make sure they get the version that they are looking for. I am sure it works great for other purposes, but for washing a car this model (95QGF4) won't do as good as the other versions.

As the previous reviewer stated, the picture used by Amazon is not what you get. Its too bad his review wasn't before I purchased this. Hopefully this will assist those looking for a Foamaster to clean their vechicles. I added a picture.

The gun I received did have the foam wand same as in the photo. What I didn't receive was a 'direction' wand shown on the parts list. I think I remember the name of that wand correctly.
Anyway, the gun I got is perfect for doing cars. As mentioned above this model only has one level of output where others have 5, again if I remember correctly. It is not difficult to mod this gun to work the same as the more expensive fully adjustable model. If you get this gun and don't mod it, just dilute the soap that you put in it. I use Adam's Car Shampoo and it works wonderfully.

I purchased this Foamaster before reading all the reviews and everyone is correct. You get this gun minus the foaming wand. It really serves no purpose without this part so instead of sending it back to Amazon, I called the manufacturer for a replacement wand. They agreed to send me one free of charge but stated that they were also out of this part because of a facility move. Luckily, if you search Google for "foam wand", you can find one for about $6.00 which is what I did. Now I love this thing. I have been waiting almost two months for the replacement from Gilmour.

This is the wrong foam master for car washing. It is a single ratio where the car washing units are multi ratio.

Recently had my Land Rover professionally detailed. The detailer showed me all the products he used when detailing the truck and the glimour foam gun was one of them. Combined with a good automobile soap, (i use chemical guys maxi suds), produces great results. I highly recommend this to any one that takes pride in keeping there vehicle looking good!
