If you are going to invest hundreds of $$$ in a GPS unit, why settle for just an open-ended sleeve for its protection when not in use?
This carry case is of superior quality construction, has the added benefit of a carry slot on the outside (see picture)AND has a magnetic / post style strap that securely holds your GPS in place.
I was about to settle on the "standard" sleeves offered locally for $25 when I ran across this one. Even with Shipping and Handling, it came in around $17.00. As a supplier, they had my case in my hand a good day ahead of my earliest expectation.

This horizontal version avoids turning the GPS on while putting it away in the pocket. Fit snuggly with the Garmin 4.3" 700 series. Highly recommended a buy!

Im using this for a Garmin Nuvi 255WT. The GPS fits nicely inside.
I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

About the case:
-strap closure across the open end with a magnetic snap
-semi rigid and provides good protection to GPS screen
-black in color
-felt lining inside

The front pocket will:
-accommodate a 2.25" x 4.5" card (completely inside)
or
-accommodate a 3" x 4.5" card (.75" exposure outside)

Inside measurements of the case (with strap closed):
.88" x 3.13" x 4.88" (7/8" x 3 1/8" x 4 7/8")

You're pushing the limits if you try fitting anything larger than the dimensions given above inside it.

LOVE this case for my Nuvi 265 WT! I feel confident my Nuvi will be very safe and secure in this snap close leather case with velvet lining! It's a perfect fit! I love having the little storage area on the side. The only room for improvement I would like to see is a belt strap. Chances I'd use a belt strap a lot might be slim but I can definitely see times when it would come in handy.

I ordered this for my Nuvi 765T. It's a nice case, and I like the look, but it's just a bit wider than it needs to be. I wish it was a little more slim.

I bought this case because I wanted a high quality LEATHER case for my Garmin Nuvi 760. While the size, shape and functionality of this case is superior, the quality of the materials is not. First and foremost, it is FAKE pleather, and second, it is lined on the inside with some kind of synthetic velor material that isn't even sown down on the edges. I wanted a case that I could expect to last for years to come. This is not it.

2 stars for high functionality, but not the "premium leather" product that was promised.

I have a Garmin Nuvi 265W GPS unit that I never want to leave in my car unattended. The case is a perfect fit, and you can also hide a few credit cards in the pocket. I love this case because I've dropped the GPS unit a couple of times, and the case protects it very well.

It protects my GPS and because of the way it is made, it won't accidentally hit the power slider and turn on the GPS.

There is a little pouch in the front great for small notes or an SD card.
Looks great, light, fits my 760 perfectly and won't scratch the screen.

I purchased this case for my new Nuvi 255W. This case much better then an original Garmin case. Design is better for inserting and removing GPS and at very reasonal price. Material is high quality and slick. This will protect GPS well and don't take up much space. Highly recommended!

I was a little skeptical of this case because I wanted one that had a full cover on the top latch, but I went ahead and purchases it anyways. I am sure glad that I did that. The case is great quality, perfect shape and does exactly what is needs to, protects my GPS unit. The magnetic latch is wonderful. Pair this with the screen protectors and the unit will stay in perfect scratch free shape.
