Argualby Wood's best solo album; featuring fellow Stones members Charlie Watts, Keith & Mick on several tracks. Rocks along like a Faces-Stones combination from begining to end. If Ron had any input to a Stone's album, this is most likely what it would sound like. Don't pass this up.

I bought this when it first came out on vinyl and it remains my favorite Ron Wood CD. There is just a groove, a feel to the whole album very upbeat, a party like atmosphere and it reflects in all of the songs. Woody's never been a great vocalist, but these songs suit his abilities just fine. "Worry no more" opens the CD, a boozy bar anthem with a loud chorus and "We all get old" also is a standout cut. What Woody lacks in range, he makes up for with passion. Overall, it's just an upbeat album that is allot of fun to listen to, you can tell everyone had a great time recording it. As usual, the guitar playing is top notch, with great rythms and slide guitar. A must for any Ron Wood fan.

I've owned several vinyl and cassette versions of this album ever since its release, and I've worn all of them out. This album showed Ronnie Wood to be a major force in his own right, and I would love to for the Stones to include some of Ronnie's works into their live repertoire, as well as having him do some lead vocals on their LP's. If the Stones should ever need ideas on how their future albums should sound, they should listen to this one for inspiration. My favorite tracks: "Buried Alive (Keith Richards' and Ronnie's heavy guitar intros, as well as Charlie Watts' drum entrance, give me goose bumps to this day)," "Come To Realise," and "F.U.C. Her."

This album is a timeless classic. Ron's last solo album before officially joining the Stones. Keith and the boys did a lot of back up vocals and instramentals on this one. The artwork on the album cover is also very interesting - all of it painted by Mr. Wood himself.

This album contains one great song after another. The clever wordplay of Ronny's lyrics have kept me smiling since it first came out in the late '70's. From "Come To Realize" to "Seven Days"(Written by Bob Dylan) this album packs a punch on many levels. The backup musicians are all stars in their own right too. It should be noted the supporting tour for this album was a once in lifetime experience. Keith Richards on guitar and Stanley Clark on bass just to mention two of the performers. Finally take your time enjoying the album cover artwork. These are all examples of Ron Wood's artwork. Ron Wood has been producing art longer than he has played guitar. Winning awards at the age of 13 through today, Ron Wood continues to produce artwork on a regular basis. Time spent with this album is time well spent.

This was the first Wood album (CD) that I bought during the summer of 1979 and it still makes me smile. Wood`s ensemble was to later become the New Barbarians, and I recall seeing them during Keith`s benefit concert for the blind in Oshawa, Canada.

The guitar work is first class, the selection of songs outstanding, having Mick, Keith and Charlie on some of the tracks gave it a Stonesy feel without being the Stones, and the lyrics are first rate "guy" lyrics that you will not likely find with today`s loser boy bands, who cannot play their instruments, and which seem to be "manufactured" by Hollywood.

Buy it and have some fun.

I had this as an LP when it came out. Wore out the groves. Bought it last month on CD and have been thrilled. The opening piano notes send shivers up my spine. Seven Days is an all time great for me. BUY IT

I gave four Stars because I want you to take a look at it. It is not a bad album at all. In fact, of all the solo efforts of "Stones" members, I find it to be probably the most listenable start to finish. There are some real good tracks on here, especially "We All Get Old". Also good rocking fun is "Seven Days", "Breaking My Heart" and "Don't Worry". This album was released in like '78 or '79, can't remember, not important. You can pick this up for a song and it will be worth it.
