I have used these for an entire season and I can tell you it really helps to clear the water in my scummy little pond. My pond is small and gets a lot of trash from the surrounding trees and such. These pellets have cleared up my pond significantly and it lasts a long time. Naturally, I still have to dip stuff out and there is still sludge on the bottom, but I can see my fish clearly.
