Most Helpful Customer Reviews

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful By Lesser Knowns on December 15, 2009
It was a treat to learn the story behind Leonardo da Vinci's first, mesmerizing portrait of Ginevra de Benci. Many secrets of this mysterious face are revealed in this film using intriguing technological techniques. I was glad to know the answers to questions such as: who Ginevra was and how Leonardo came to paint her, and you will be too. Meryl Streep's voice is a soothing touch for narrator, and it sets the right mood for this piece.
