This review is from: The Ginger Kid: The Buck Weaver Story (Hardcover)
I couldn't put this book down. If there was a way to keep me interested and keep me from falling asleep, Mr. Stein certainly succeeded. I had become interested in Buck Weaver after watching the film "Eight Men Out" though I am not a Chicago native, and was interested to find out about another side of the story. I do believe there are web sites who are petitioning for Weaver to get into the Baseball Hall of Fame but it's up to the reader to decide about his innocence.
