A delightful, old-fashioned story. The illustrations are great! It's a great kids story. My grandaughter loves anything to do with a gingerbread man and she loved it.

This is one of many versions of the Gingerbread boy story. The illustrations are engaging and the repetitive text makes it easy for children to join in.
Try reading this version along with one or more (the more the merrier) versions. Children can compare details of the story and may be inspired to write their own version!

The copy I recieved of the Gingerbread Man was in excellent condition and was the version of the story just as I remembered it. Well done !!

I received this book a few days after ordering, and it arrived in new condition, though I bought it "used." I'm so happy with this product!

I was very happy to find a hard cover edition of this classic story. It fit well in our library.

...from when I was a kid. Granted, this version is a tad more up to date picture wise from the 1970's, but is still great!

Each friend of mine that has a baby, I give them a copy of this book in hopes that their kids will enjoy it half as much as I used to.

A fun book...just as I remember it from my childhood. This brought back memories, and I hope that it creates new memories for my grandchildren.

This is a fun book, I like the words and the pictures. My son reads it over and over (by memory!).

I have to admit I was a little disappointed when I received this book. Maybe I dont remember the story that well, but it didnt seem to be the original version and I wasnt impressed with the illustrations in the slightest.

this book, which is somewhat good, but does not interest me, it is pretty funny, to read a bout a gingerbread man that comes to life, and has to run from all the different animals until being tricked and is eaten by a very clever fox
