Believing that ginkgo trees are somewhat magical and capable of their own miracles, I was charmed to find this lovely little book about a ginkgo tree who loved the moon who chased the sun. The illustrations in this book are the most dreamy wonderful pictures and the gentle little story unfolds in a plesing way. Hunter Matney, age 6, loved this book, and we both recommend it highly.

I loved this book, even though I supposedly bought it for my daughter. It's on her bookshelf, but I am continuously tempted to put it on mine. The illustrations are beyond lovely, reminding me in some ways of wood cuttings and Picasso. Ginkgo, a tree, is in love with the moon. Moon, of course, is chasing Sun and doesn't notice him. If you like stories from nature, this is a must have.

I recieved the book in good shape, it was used, just like the add said, but in very good shape. I'm happy!

I love this book, so I had to order it for my cousin who was only 7 because I knew she was going to love this book as a bedtime story.

I am a collector of Children's Books. I own about 450 or so. I don't know why I didn't write a review about Ginkgo & Moon when I purchased 2 copies about 4 years ago!! It is a heartwarming story and beautifully illustrated. I bought 1 copy as a Christmas gift for my (at the time) 22 y/o daughter who was in Artschool. We both love Ginkgos and the Moon. The other copy is on my Children's bookshelf, ready to read to a grandchild someday. This book is sweet for kids, but a pleasure for all who might read it. Add it to your shelf!

This is one of the most touching, beautifully written children's books I have seen in a long time. It's a nature's love story and a fable all wrapped into one. I would recommend it for children ages 6 through 10, maybe older if they are interested. I read it to my 3 year old because he just likes to be read to sometimes and he likes the pictures. The illustrations are wonderful as well. I definitely would say buy this; please buy this. You will not regret this purchase!!
