This thing works great (as many others have said). However, when it broke down I looked around and found the Dr. Brown's Natural Flow Cleaning Brush, 4 Pack. You get four times as many brushes (that work just as well) for less than half the price.

BTW, I feel that honest, effective reviews can take the place of first-hand experiences that are lacking in online shopping. I've always appreciated the help I've received from other reviewers and work hard to return the favor as best as I can. I hope you found this review helpful and if there was anything you thought was lacking or unclear leave a comment and I'll do what I can to fix it.

While I'm sure this works great for cleaning "Sippy Cups," I purchased it to clean the straws from Camelback bottles and the reusable Starbucks cold drink cup straws. It works great for both.

I love this product. My daughter would never even try to drink from regular sippy cups. Thanks to my friends suggestion, I went ahead and tried her on the sippy cups with straws. I was so pleased she took to them so well. However, my bubble was soon burst by the fact that I had no accurate way to clean her straws. I would run them through the dishwasher, but... how clean are they really after that?? I would always have a sick feeling in the back of my head. I ordered this and it is perfection in the making!!!!! Now I can thoroughly clean her straws and have peace of mind knowing that there is no hidden germs or food particles chillin in what she uses every day for her source of hydration!!!! Love this so much I am literally going to order one for every friend I have with children!. An absolute must have!

I was a little disappointed when I received this in the mail. I had been using the Dr.Brown's cleaner but was annoyed with how flimsy the wand was. I thought if there were a 'handle', like this one, it wouldn't bend as easy. Unfortunately, the quality is the same as Dr. Brown's. In the package you get an extra wand but the blue handle is a 'one time use'. There is no way to just replace the brush and keep the handle. That's a bummer.

The package comes with two -- one with a plastic handle and another without, and I understand why. The plastic handle one is sturdier and more comfortable, but the handle stops it from reaching further into the straw. By the way, I don't have kids, so this is not for a kids sippy straw. I using it for a real, longer straw. Maybe they could've made it longer so the handle wouldn't limit it, although I can't say "limit" is quite the word. It really *does* the job.

I was a little afraid I was going to waste my money on this, but since replacing straws on my son's cups was getting expensive (they kept turning orange inside), I figured it was worth a try. For the price you get two of them, and they are WONDERFUL! All of his straws are nice and clear looking again, and it fits great in them (munchkin I think is the cup we use). They look/feel a little bit flimsy, but we've been using it for a month or so now, and it's still in great condition.

Great little gadget for thoroughly cleaning reusable straws, both for kiddie and adult cups/bottles. Handy to have 2nd cleaner without the plastic handle so it is slim enough to fit into longer adult straws. Metal handle on both is relatively flimsy to allow it to pass through some of the bent straws which come with kiddie bottles. Would be nice for one of the two cleaners to have sturdier metal handle, but this is the best option to clean both that I've found. Highly recommend this product, coming from someone who doesn't like having all sorts of extra gadgets around, only useful ones!

I have been looking for something like this in stores for years. I have thrown away so many sippy cups and straws because I could not quite get them clean. A friend told me about this product and I got it right away. It is such a great deal because you get 2 of them for this price. I have been using mine for months and it works great and is still in really good condition. It even cleaned some older sippy cups and straws that I had set aside thinking I could never get them clean. I also use this to clean other items that have small crevices. I highly recommend this product!

I have been looking for a best way to clean my water bottle. This is the best product I ever bought!

I bought these for cleaning the straws in sport-type water bottles. I keep a bottle on my desk at work, on my nightstand at home and generally take one with me wherever I go. I wanted something to clean the straws, especially if I drank sports drinks or added crystal light flavoring to my water. These are not long enough to clean a full sized straw for a 32 oz water bottle. If you use the one that comes without the blue handle, it is about 1/2 inch short when you go in on both ends, the blue handled one is slightly shorter. If you are expecting to use these for childrens sippy cups you will most likely be very happy. Giving these 4 stars because they would be really effective for sippy cups but the description says it is for sports bottles too and does not live up to that statement.
