I thought it would tip when we received it, but my 15 month old goes crazy on it, and it stays put. She does not slip on the surface either. She constantly wants to wash her hands now. She has no problems reaching one of our faucets with it. It is a standard height sink, but it does not extend far from the wall. (At 8 inches this stool is a little taller than the typical 6.5 inch toddler stool.) The other sinks are farther out, but we bought a faucet extender to make it work. She has no problem getting up and down the stool. She likes to carry it everywhere to climb other things easily. This would be annoying, but she was all ready able to climb onto our couch and chairs...so this just makes it easier for her. She loves it. I love that she can wash her hands and brush her teeth in the sink now. The only annoyance is that it blocks the door in the downstairs bathroom, but that bathroom is rather small. Oh, she is 33 inches tall.

I'm a bit surprised at all the positive reviews. For us this stool seems extremely easy to tip, in fact I have caught my daughter more than once already just before she went over while on it. I wish the base was wider than the top and that it had some sort of weight at the bottom. Also not sure why the grip material doesn't spread to the edge of each step.

Our 2-year-old daughter loves this stool. She is a huge Disney princess fan (what little girl isn't?). The two steps have helped her with balance and coordination, also allowing her to become slightly more self-sufficient at tasks such as brushing her teeth or turning on the light switch. There is a cutout area on the back for this product to be carried by hand, which is great for adults. However our little one tends to pick it up by both sides in and hold it in front of her to transport it, which works fine also.

This is a great little step stoll. We bought this for our 22 month old daugther so she could reach the bathroom sink. The stool is light weight so it's easy to move around, but is still very sturdy when our daughter is standing on it to reach the faucet, Both steps have a nice rubber grip on top so we are not worried about her slipping off. The princess design on the bottom step is cute. I would definitely recommend this to other parents.

This stool is just as pictured, and my daughter thinks it's great. I hate the thing! She falls off it all the time. The top step is too narrow and the curve makes it hard for her to intuitively know where is safe. It is hard to pick up for her as there are no handles, just one indent in the back, so if you are little and need to use two hands, the stool is virtually impossible to carry. Ergo, I am constantly helping her with it.

The stool is ok, but I would not buy it again. I initially bought it so my child could stand at the bathroom sink to wash her hands. I didn't want a pink princess stool -- I wanted one that was taller than some of the others. I tried it once when she was about 15 months old and then took it out of the bathroom. The rounded edge was dangerous! She almost fell off several times because the stool is only flush with the bathroom cabinet in one place so she couldn't get close enough to the sink. I replaced it with a basic, rectangular folding step stool. The grip on the bottom of the princess stool is not great -- it slips on tile. Somehow the plastic (near a top edge) cracked after minimal use. I finally came to terms with my purchase when she was a little older and found that she could use it in her bedroom (on carpet) to climb up on her own into the rocking chair. That is where it has stayed, and I am glad to have something there for her to freely get in and out of the chair.

Wanted a 2 step step stool because the one step didn't allow my 2 year old to reach the sink. Love it

Does the job but our 2-year old (80% + height percentile) needs to grow a little more in order to be able to open the faucet on our sinks. The material seems fine (plastic) and the theme is cute. I wouldn't say it's 100% sturdy because we had our first boo-boo with it but I was because daughter was jumping on it (our bad) so you need to keep an eye on your kids when they are using it (as it should be)
