The cutting board is nothing spectacular and the knife is obviously not a Shun or Global quality knife , but for 6$ and free shipping , both the board and the knife are excellent value .
The knife came decently sharp , not shaving sharp , but definitely sharp enough .
Knife handle - well , its pretty much junk , and as people here already mentioned before me , it is NOT a steel handle as you see in the photo , it's actually a plastic handle, but again , for 6$ shipped ,you can't expect any steels or exotic handle materials.
The cutting board is ok , and as long as you wash it by hand and not put it inside the dish washer , I don't see any reason why it wouldn't last a decently long time just fine.

Conclusion - as says in the title , excellent value for the money , especially if you use this item just as a filler in order to get a free shipping , like I did

I was very disappointed when I received this knife because in the picture it shows a nice stainless steal handle. The knife is sharp and still serves its purpose but it is a cheap black plastic handle on the knife. The knife is much lighter weight than the knife I was expecting. It was still a good value for what I got but I wish I would have gotten what the picture was advertising.
