2.0 out of 5 stars great performance, bad quality, February 26, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This album has a great performance by Callas. However, the sound quality is bad, even by vintage recording standards. At one point someone is talking over the performance near the microphone. As someone who wanted to hear Armida before attending one of the Metropolitan Opera streaming events, I found other recordings a better introduction.
