I recently purchased these shoes, not being familiar with the brand. I was very impressed with the quality. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable, and I like that they do not have a shiny patent finish, which makes these more appropriate for causual and business casual wear. I'd give these 5 stars, but the rubber soles smell very strong like new car tires, which is a little overwhelming. (I've never had rubber-soled shoes that smelled so strongly.) I hope the smell dissipates soon. Otherwise, they're perfect.

I bought these shoes based on price. I needed a nice shoe that I could wear all day at a trade show that didnt look like an orthopedic shoe. I took these to Australia and when I opened my suitcase I expected a creosote smell based on other reviews but I smelled nothing like that. I wore them all day and the rest of the weekend and they were great! I have gotten many good compliments on them and I wear them about once a week. These shoes are money!!!!
