This is the 5th cordless grater I've purchased in the last 15 years. 3 of them have been the Giovanna by Deni. The other ones were junk. These graters last for years and really make grating cheese a breeze. I have arthritis in my hands and this tool is a real blessing. I am going to buy another just to have on backup in case I need one down the line and it is discontinued.

This grater works well. Both my husband and I have limited hand strength but can easily grate parmesan cheese now. It only needs periodic recharging so we keep the charger in a cupboard and pull it out when needed so no need for committed counter-space. A good product.

I have gone through many graters, either to break because you need to apply pressure to grate or they get thrown out because they require more effort than I can supply.... But the Deni cordless is just great. My Italian sister-in-law in Bologna had a version when we last visited her and I fell in love with the gadget. I searched for something similar here in the US and found the Italian made Deni. This version is much more economical than others I found and works beautifully. Do let your cheese come to room temperature for the best results and as with most cheeses, the more favorable taste. I would definitely recommend this grater.

Years have gone by and I am still searching for this item. I gave mine to my grandson as he loved it so much. Why is the Giovanna by Deny cordless cheese grater out of the market?
Personally I could check most of my Christmas list if I could find it.
