An Expensive Catalogue,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Giovanni Gabrieli (Ca.1555-1612): A Thematic Catalogue of His Music With a Guide to the Source Materials and Translations of His Vocal Texts (Thematic Catalogues) (Hardcover)
This book includes a listing of all of Giovanni Gabrieli's works at the very end: the list was the only reason I bought the book. With a best price of $70, this is a very expensive way in which to obtain such a listing. The book is also extremely technical, perhaps too technical for people other than music students or professors. Since the time when I purchased the book, I have created a spreadsheet containing all of Gabrieli's works and based on this book's listing, and I have given the book away. I wish I could have found a complete listing of Gabrieli's works in any other manner, as I would not have bought this book.
