This music is delightfully refreshing,and is a rare find! The music is somewhat Mozartian in nature, yet it more resembles piano music composed by Karl Ditters von Dittersdorf.Mariaclara Monetti plays these concerti beautifully and Stephanie Gonley does a superb job in conducting the English Chamber Orchestra. There is no doubt that these recordings deserve a FIVE STAR review and should open new vistas to all classical music lovers.

Yes, the music here is deeply entrenched in the most 'classical' sense, that is, Mozart, Haydn, Clementi, etc. The recording is Swarovski crystal clear, the performances are elegant, but the joy of discovering the sumptuous piano concerti of Paisiello can't be realized by a mere reading of a reviewer's congratulatory words. It has to be auditioned by fine speakers. I have a pair of Logitech Z10 digital speakers which does this superb recording justice. I am now in the process of locating other recordings of Paisiello and this English Chamber Orchestra set is a wonderful start.
